This process is non poisonous , neutral and very stable electrolyte as well as no harmful for human health. But, for the potassium Gold cyanide process , the operator has to inhale poisonous hydrocyanogen gas which is very toxic and gradually poisons the operators blood and results low eye sight, weak stomach, intestinal and sexual disorders. Jemini is trouble free process and even easier for a lay man.   Entire  metal contents can be extracted from the Jemini bath by plating.

Initial make up :

 

Jemini                                              30 –45 gms

De-ionized water                                      1 lt.
GPC-                                                         1 gms.

Solution preparation:
Add, required quantity of  Jemini  in the De-ionized water of room temperature.
Stir the solutions by means of a glass or PVS rod, until the salts are dissolved completely. Raise the temperature up to 70-90 degree C or as per your  requirement .Add GPC and the bath is ready now.

Operating conditions:

Tank                          : PVC/ PP / PPGL  lined or borosil beaker for a

Anode                         : Stainless steel plate of 3 1 6  grade.
Anode cathode ratio   : 1:1 Appox.
Temp                           : 50-90 degrees C.
Voltage                        :2- 10 Volts.
Current density           : 5-40 amps/sq. ft.
Plating time                 :A few seconds 2 a minute.
