INTRODUCTION

Gold ornaments are passion for women since long years.  This   passion  technology  is a tribute to human who love to make their appearances more attractive by using gold ornaments. Since, pure gold ornaments are very costly and out of reach of average people, pure plated jewelries are used extensively by every man and woman.
This passion process is very stable and neutral electrolyte. Since, this is a free cyanide process. Highly  poisonous gold potassium bath can be replaced. Passion process has been developed exclusively for obtaining 22-24 karat pure  gold depositions on decorative items like jewelries and electronic parts

EQUIPMENTS

  1. Borosil glass beaker or pvc / ppgl or pp tank can be used.
  2. Rectifier.
  3. Filter unit ( optional.)
  4. Centrifugal heating drier.
  5. Silica cased ni-chrome heater
  6. S S Anode of 316 grade 

 

INITIAL  MAKE UP

1 PASSION P                              30gms/ltr.
2 PASSION C                              15gms/ltr.
3   GPC                                           1gm/ltr.

 

SOLUTION PREPARATION

Add required quantity of Passion  P  and passion  C in de-ionised water. Raise the temperature up to 70 -90 degree Centigrade.  Stir the solution until, salts are dissolved completely. Now, add GPC in the bath  solution and  Start gold plating.

OPERATING CONDITIOINS:
Tank                                 :   Enameled iron pot or borosil glass beaker or  PVC  lined.
Anode                              :   Stainless steel plate of  316 grade.
Anode cathode Ration     :    1 : 1  approximate.
Temperature                    :    50 degreeC-90 degreeC  as required.
Voltage                            :    2  - 10 Volts.
Current Density               :    5  -  40 amps. per sq. ft.
Plating  time                    :    A few seconds to a  minute
