TECHNOLOGY ON GOLD
PLATING)
INTRODUCTION
This process replaces
conventional highly poisonous gold potassium cyanide process with the following
advantages as follows:-
a) Non poisonous, neutral and
stable electrolyte.
b) Trouble free process, even
easier for a lay man.
c) Entire metal content can be
exhausted by plating from the AUROSHINA bath.
INITIAL MAKE UP
1)
AUROSHINA R 30 gm.
2)
AUROSHINA L 30
ml.
3) GPC 1 gm.
4) DE-IONISED WATER 1 ltr.
SOLUTION PREPARATION
Add required quantity of AUROSHINA R in the de-ionised water
of room temperature. Stir the solution by means of a glass or pvc rod until the
salts are dissolved completely. Start
heating the solution up to 60 degree centigrade or as per your requirment. Now,
add required quantity of AUROSHINA-L
and GPC. Bath is ready to start gold plating.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
TANK : Enamelled iron pot or borosil
glass beaker or pvc lined tank.
ANODE : Stainless steel plate
of 316 grade

MAINTENANCE
During
electro-plating if the color of the gold deposition is yellowish and your
demand for reddish, then add 2-5 ml/ltr of
AUROSHINA L for reddish gold deposition. If the
plated gold color is pale
reddish, add 2-5 grams /ltr. of
AUROSHINA R in the vat for
producing yellowish gold deposition
FOR YELLOWISH TONE
Add AUROSHINA R @ 2-5 grams/ltr. in excess during initial
make up.
FOR REDDISH TONE
Add AUROSHINA L @2-5 ml/ltr. in excess during initial make up and stir well
before loading.
COLOUR OF
DEPOSIT
The colour of
deposit will never change or tarnish in case of yellowish or reddish deposit as
we introduce organic catalyst in Auroshina process for long lasting and
hardness of deposit.
